It is said that in Fort Lauderdale, when the sun sets, fun stars. You can relax and unwind yourself at the various wine bars here or dance up with cocktails and heart pumping music. You can easily catch the game with friends at the sports bar or go to the comedy club.

There are several hot spots and night clubs in Fort Lauderdale that you can use your rental cars to visit at night. If you are lucky, you might even meet some of the celebrities in the area. Las Olas Blvd is the main corridor of celebrities in the city. So this could be your first stop. It is the major downtown area in Fort Lauderdale where you can find many bars, restaurants and clubs.

You can also find night time beaches in this area. A1A is another area that you can add in the things to do in the city nightlife. If you are looking for a younger crowd, then you might want to head south towards Miami Beach, South Beach and Lincoln Road area.

These are places where you can find younger crowds and are only 20 minutes ride from the city in your rental car in Fort Lauderdale. Most of the Miami Beach area that you see on TV and movies are shot here.

When you go to Lincoln Road, you will recognize it as the heard of Miami Beach and there are many famous nightclubs and tourists attractions here. The Mai-Kai – Molokai Bar has a very good happy hour. It is one of the best night clubs in the city. It is designed as a seaport saloon and features a bar with 51 specialty drinks.

The Ale House in the city is another great night club that you can visit here. It offers great food values and lots of beer on draught. You can savor the taste of the “Zinger” Chicken Wings, T-bone steak and Live Main Lobster. On Thursdays it is Ladies Night and ladies get to drink for free. You also have live DJ and giveaways here.

101 Ocean is another great nightclub in the city. It is located at the heart of the city by the sea and is just 50 yards from the beach. They provide amazing quality food and service at affordable prices in very relaxed, casual and beautiful surroundings.

Whatever be your fun idea in Fort Lauderdale, there is a lot you can do with rental cars in Fort Lauderdale which will make commutation to local night clubs a charm.

Sundays:
Club Nikki (formally Pearl), Nikki Beach
1 Ocean Dr
This party is either a great end to the weekend or a great start. You can start out in the sand at Nikki Beach listening to great electro house music and drinking mojitos, then shower up and hit Club Nikki at night. Club Nikki plays mixed format music at night (hip-hop, house, 80′s etc.) at night and has a very strict dress code. Guys, this means no t-shirts and sneakers. Celebrity sightings are normal.

Mondays:
BED
929 Washington Ave
BED Monday’s is a local scene which revolves around a hip-hop dinner party. It’s young and fun. Expect to see some HEAT players and maybe some hip hop guys. Miami local Pitbull is there every Monday, and Shaq was there last Monday for example.

Tuesdays:
Mokai
235 23rd street
Mokai is brand new. It’s a beautiful place and tends to attract people that got bored with Mynt. It’s full of South Beach models and bottles. The music is mixed and drinks are pricey.

Rok Bar
1906 Collins Ave
Rok Bar is, well, a rock bar. It’s not CBGB, it’s a Miami style rock bar, which means everyone buys ripped clothes on Lincoln Road and goes to Rok Bar. Not that that’s a bad thing. Rok Bar is a ton of fun. It’s usually packed, so if you can’t take shoulder to shoulder rocking this is not the place for you. If you can handle it, expect to be wasted in no time and rocking to the best tunes on XM channel 47.

Wednesdays:
Mynt
1921 Collins Ave
Mynt is still rocking on Saturdays. The scene upstairs is full of beautiful people showing ridiculous amounts of spending power. It’s a house music place, and if you like that kind of music like me, you will be happy all night. They have a hip hop room downstairs that is all redone, but is really hit or miss.

Thursdays:
As of Thursday, you start to have some options…

Our recommendation:

320 Lincoln Road
This place is brand new and pretty spectacular. They have a mixed format, mostly beautiful local people and is by far the best thing going on Thursday nights.

Mansion’s Party has come and gone and it seems to be back again with Stephan at the helm. I would come late and stay late if you’re planning on going. Mixed format, locals and tourists.

Fridays:
Mansion

The original hip hop party. They usually have a celebrity guest and it’s a good mix of tourists and locals. The entire main dancing area is closed to VIP on Fridays.
Saturdays
Lots of options. It’s the biggest party night of the week.

?When people think of burlesque they often think of striptease,? says Lemley, ?and while that?s certainly part of the fun, the burlesque movement of the 20s and 30s had much broader cultural influence.? The savvy women of burlesque drove trends in fashion and comedy, and even served as the launch pad for the television variety show. ?From Cher to Lady Gaga, we continue to see the influence of the burlesque movement in everything from music to fashion to dance.?

Despite its cultural relevance, this show is no history lesson. Song-and-dance fun fill the theater as the cast belts out unforgettable hits such as ‘Hey Big Spender,’ ‘Let Me Entertain You,’ and ‘She?s A Lady’ while they dance to Merete Muenter?s provocative bump-and-grind choreography. The costumes of Wendall Goings add to the experience, glittering with sequins and flowing with fans and feathers.
